We are currently accepting used working computers.  These computers are in turn given to qualifying individuals at Huerfano Computer Training Center. The Huerfano Chapter (Dzil na’oodilii) is part of the Eastern agency of the Navajo Nation, and is located in northwestern New Mexico. The Navajo are known world wide for their ability to create fine silver jewelry, pottery, and textiles.

Artists living on the Navajo Reservation, sell their crafts to non-Native wholesalers off the reservation at considerably lower prices than the art is actually worth.

Sacred Wind Communications Community Connect is a non-profit that is wholly dedicated to the Navajo Nation. Sacred Wind (with the help of a USDA grant) created this website and a business center for the Huerfano Chapter, expressly for the purpose of benefiting the Navajo artist.  This website is free to the Navajo craft person who wishes to post their art on the Internet; the Business Center manages the site, promotes the artists’ work, and all profits goes directly to the Navajo artist.
